On January 1st 1973 the UK acceded to the European Economic Community or the EEC. The EEC has become today what we know as the European Union (EU), the most powerful and largest trading block in the world.
EUouth exists to encourage youth engagement with the EU, and foster understanding of how it helps the real everyday people of the UK and wider EU. One of the most important things we can do is teach the young of Britain that without the co-operation of the EU Britain would be left behind in the global race, and fall into irrelevance.
Voting for the European Elections 2014, 22nd May opens at 7am and closes at 10pm.
